Staying Connected After Retirement
Retiring doesn’t mean you lose your connection to the University. One of the best ways to maintain your relationship with the UC community after retirement is through local campus emeriti, retiree associations and campus retirement centers.
What does connection look like?
Emeriti, retiree associations, and campus retirement centers provide retirees the opportunity to volunteer, mentor, attend lectures and social events, advocate for other retirees and stay up to date on the latest UC news.
How do I get involved?
If you’re interested in connecting with local campus emeriti, retirement associations and campus retirement centers you need to agree to release your contact information. You can do this in one of two ways:
- Reach out to your local retirement center, or
Opt into the checkbox on UCRAYS that authorizes the Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) to share your information with emeriti and retiree associations. You will find this option in UCRAYS under the email and phone preferences for your profile.
